The founding Battalions were established as Pals Battalions in Liverpool, from commercial offices in that city, and assigned to the 30th Division. Fought on the Western Front and in the Italian Campaign, participated in major battles, including the Somme, Arras, and Ypres. Was virtually destroyed during the German spring offensive of 1918 but was reconstituted to take part in the final battles of the war. This limited edition normally sells for over £30
